Bridal shower with 200 guests?

My fiancee's maid of honor just called me and told me that she has invited over 200 guests to my fiancee's wedding shower which is next weekend in Baton Rouge. Has anyone ever attended a shower this big and if so, how long did it last? It seems like it would be sheer craziness and have the potential to go on for days.....j/k, but for real..how long would it last?
