Can i do swimming in p.e?

okay first of all, next time get better hair dye. next i am totally with you on the swim caps. they hurt and look like poo. what you might want to try is putting your hair in a bun on top of your head and swimming with your head out of the water. however you said that you have short hair so it might be hard to put in a bun. if by "running" you mean that it comes out of your hair and into the water, then no they cannot make you. because, if you do wear a swim cap, your skin has medical irritation and it can harm you. if you don't wear a swim cap, it harms everyone else in the pool because hair dye is chemicals and not everyone wants to be exposed to those chemicals. ask your teacher if there is an alternative activity you can do during swim. at my school, if somebody forgets their bathing suit, etc., my teacher has them walk around the pool. hope this helps!! tell me how it works out because i have been trying to get out of swim class forever. thanks :D
