I burnt my hand on a curling iron, help please =(?

2 hours aggo i grabbed my curling iron with the wrong end at it was on high and i burnt my hand, im home alone so i cldnt ask parents but i ran it under cold water then put alo but whenever i dont have ice or water on it it burns so bad i start to cry and it burns too much to be able to apply alo properly, please help im in so much pain! =(
