I keep getting bacterial vaginosis?

i have sex with my boyfriend everyday. He alo cums in me everyday as were tying to get pregnant. I keep getting bacterial vaginosis and the gyno told him to stop cumming in me. Is there anything i can do to prevent these infections? We continue to have sex everyday but he only cums in me a few times a week now..do you think this will help?
