I need help adding music to my verizon phone? (The Rouge)?

I downloaded The V Cast Media Manager and everything, an all my music from itunes is already on the media manager so i just don't know how to sync te music onto my phone because my charger can plug into the computer and everything but i tried to connect the phone by pressing USB Mass storage and it keeps saing "Connect Cable To PC" so I need help from someone who this has happened too already.....
