Running 32-bit download on 64-bit?

With a very few exceptions, most 32-bit Windows applications will run on 64-bit Windows. It was designed with that compatibility in mind. The exceptions are usually programs designed to interact with hardware (eg: drivers) or lower level OS functions/systems specific to the 64-bit system.
