Why is this, what do you think?

MY trainer always says that he wants me to jump more because I dont get alot of oppourtunities. But whenever I could ( there is this one horse that can) he puts someone else on it. My whole riding life ive always gotten old horses that cant jump. (ive jumped alo before though). Why do you think my trainer does this though?
